Follow the handling statement for the lot, the product record, and the signed certificate. Your storage controls need to account for the form received, container integrity, access, environmental monitoring, and your institution's rules.

Do not assume a storage condition from another compound or lot. If the published record is missing something your facility requires, quarantine the item and ask us before using it.

Only trained laboratory personnel should handle these materials, under a documented hazard assessment with the right engineering controls, protective equipment, inventory controls, and disposal procedures. Keep the label and lot number with the vial through storage and every internal transfer.

Avoid contact, ingestion, inhalation, release into the environment, and access by anyone or any animal not authorized. In an exposure or spill, follow your facility's emergency procedure and get the appropriate professional help.

Before relying on a Certificate of Analysis, check the lot number on the vial against the lot record. It should show the compound, strength, lot, laboratory, test date, identity, purity, and measured content.

Keep the signed certificate with your inventory record. An unrecognized lot number is a negative result, not a near match.

You and your institution are responsible for legality, researcher competence, protocol review, facilities, controls, record keeping, hazard communication, security, and disposal. We do not approve studies, and we do not judge whether a material suits a particular investigation.
