Refer the research. Describe it exactly.

These Affiliate Terms (the Affiliate Terms) govern participation in the Kainos Aminos affiliate programme (the Programme). They supplement the Terms of Use and Sale, which continue to apply; where the two conflict about the Programme, these Affiliate Terms control.

You accept these Affiliate Terms by submitting an application from your account. The version you accepted and the time you accepted it are recorded on your affiliate record. An affiliate is an independent, non-exclusive referrer, not an employee, agent, partner or representative of Kainos Aminos (Kainos), and may not bind Kainos or speak for it.

You must hold a Kainos account with a confirmed email address, be at least 21 years old, and be able to participate lawfully where you live. Kainos reviews every application by hand and may decline, or later end, participation at its discretion and without giving a reason.

One code per person. Kainos may change a code at approval or afterwards, and may reclaim a code that is misleading, offensive, or reads as official.

Every Kainos product is sold strictly for qualified laboratory research. It is not for human or veterinary use, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, food, cosmetic use, or human consumption, and none of it has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. You must present products the same way, every time, in every channel.

You must not state, imply or let an audience infer any of the following about a Kainos product:

• a benefit, effect, outcome or result in a person or an animal;
• a dose, cycle, protocol, schedule, stack, or how to take or administer anything;
• a personal-use, before-and-after, testimonial or experience framing;
• a medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, dietary, cosmetic or veterinary use;
• approval, clearance, endorsement or evaluation by any regulator.

Where you quote or paraphrase Kainos copy, carry the research-use notice with it. A single prohibited claim is grounds to withhold commissions and end participation.

You may not:

• misrepresent your relationship with Kainos, or use the Kainos name, wordmark or product imagery in a way that suggests you are Kainos;
• post your code or link on coupon, deal, voucher or cashback sites, or present it as a discount — a referral is attribution, not a price change;
• bid on “Kainos”, “Kainos Aminos”, product names or their misspellings in paid search, or run ads that land on kainosaminos.com directly;
• send unsolicited bulk messages, use bots, incentivised clicks, forced clicks, pop-unders, iframes, cookie stuffing or any technique that attributes a visit the visitor did not choose to make;
• post the link where the platform or forum forbids affiliate links, or to minors;
• register domains, handles or pages that impersonate Kainos.

Your link is kainosaminos.com/?ref=YOURCODE; the code also works on any page of the site and can be typed at checkout. A visit through your link is remembered in that visitor’s browser for 30 days. If a visitor follows more than one affiliate’s link, the most recent one is credited. A code typed at checkout takes precedence over a remembered link.

You may not earn on your own purchases, on purchases made with your own account or email address, or on purchases by your household, employer or business placed through you to capture a commission. Such orders carry no commission, and arranging them is a breach of these Affiliate Terms.

Your commission rate is individual. It is set by Kainos when your application is approved, shown to you in your affiliate dashboard and in the approval email, and is not published. Kainos may change your rate going forward with notice in your dashboard, including through a scheduled review whose terms are shown to you in advance. A rate change never alters a commission already recorded.

Commission is a percentage of the product subtotal of a referred order, less any points the buyer redeemed against it. Shipping, taxes, fees and any amount refunded are excluded. A commission is recorded as pending when the order’s Bitcoin payment settles, becomes payable when the order ships, and records the rate that applied at settlement.

Commissions carry no interest, cannot be transferred, and have no value except as a payment due from Kainos under these Affiliate Terms.

Kainos may withhold, reverse or recover a commission that relates to a cancelled, refunded, returned or disputed order; to an order Kainos reasonably believes is fraudulent, self-referred or placed in breach of these Affiliate Terms or the Terms of Use and Sale; or to traffic generated by a prohibited method. Kainos may also withhold all unpaid commissions while a breach is investigated, and may end participation for any breach.

A commission already paid on an order that is later found fraudulent, refunded or in breach is recoverable, and Kainos may set it off against future commissions.

Kainos pays commissions in Bitcoin only, on-chain or over Lightning, to the address you keep in your dashboard. Payouts are sent by hand once your payable balance reaches $50, and each payout settles the whole payable balance at that moment. The U.S. dollar amount is converted at the market rate Kainos uses when it sends; you bear network fees and exchange-rate movement after sending.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your payout address. A payment sent to the address on file is a complete payment. You are responsible for any tax on commissions you receive; Kainos does not withhold tax and may ask for tax information before paying.

If your participation ends, any payable balance is paid at the next payout once it meets the threshold, unless withheld under the section above. Balances below the threshold at the end of participation may be paid or forfeited at Kainos’s discretion.

Wherever you share your code or link you must disclose, clearly and close to the link, that you earn a commission on orders placed through it, as required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides and any equivalent rule where you publish.

Your dashboard shows order identifiers, dates, amounts and commission status for referred orders. It never shows who placed an order. You may not attempt to identify a buyer from the information you receive, combine it with other information to do so, or contact a buyer about their order.

Kainos processes your name, email address, payout address and application details to run the Programme, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Either you or Kainos may end your participation at any time, with or without cause, by notice. On ending, you must stop presenting yourself as a Kainos affiliate and remove your code and link where you can. The sections on how products must be described, withholding and reversal, payouts, and data survive.

Kainos may change these Affiliate Terms. A material change is published with a new version and you will be asked to accept it from your dashboard; continuing to share your link after notice is acceptance.

The governing-law, dispute-resolution and limitation-of-liability provisions of the Terms of Use and Sale apply to these Affiliate Terms and to the Programme as if set out here.
